🔒 Our Commitment

TrayKeeper is built privacy-first. Your treatment is personal, and the data you record about it belongs to you and only you.

TrayKeeper has no account and no servers. Everything you track stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.

📊 Data Collection

We want to be completely transparent: TrayKeeper does not collect any personal data.

No sign-up, no account, no profile
No personal information is collected
No usage analytics or tracking
No advertising and no advertising identifiers
No third-party SDKs that collect your data

💾 Data Storage

Everything you create in TrayKeeper is stored locally on your device, in app-private storage that other apps cannot read:

Wear & out sessions: Timestamps of when your aligners are in or out, stored in a private on-device database
Tray plan & day notes: Your current tray, schedule and notes, stored on device
Progress photos: Saved in app-private storage, never uploaded
Settings: Your goal, reminders and preferences, stored on device

None of this is ever uploaded to a cloud server or shared with us or any third party.

📱 Permissions

TrayKeeper requests only the minimum permissions needed, and the core tracker works without any of them:

TrayKeeper does not access your location or contacts, and never records audio. All wear-time tracking works fully offline.

💳 Purchases

TrayKeeper is free. It offers one optional one-time in-app purchase, “TrayKeeper Pro,” which unlocks extra features. There is no subscription and there are no ads.

Payments are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see, receive, or store your payment details. Your Pro status is remembered locally on your device and, through Google Play, tied to your Google account so you can restore it after reinstalling.

📦 Backup & Restore

TrayKeeper can export your data to a single backup file so you can move to a new phone or keep a copy. This is completely under your control:

The backup file is created on your device. It is only ever shared if you choose to share or save it somewhere.
Restoring reads a backup file that you pick.
Backups are never sent to us or to any cloud automatically. TrayKeeper has no servers to send them to.

🗑️ Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

In the app: Delete individual progress photos, sessions or notes at any time.
Complete removal: Uninstalling TrayKeeper permanently deletes all of its data from your device.

Because nothing you record ever leaves your device, there is no data held on our servers to request deletion of.

👶 Children's Privacy

TrayKeeper is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since the app collects no data from any user, this policy applies equally to users of all ages.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Since TrayKeeper collects no personal data, changes would only reflect updates to app functionality or permissions.
