NerveKeeper Privacy Policy

A private tracker for nerve symptoms

Last updated: July 2026

🔒 Our Commitment

NerveKeeper is built privacy-first. Your health is personal, and the nerve symptoms you record about it belong to you and only you.

NerveKeeper has no account and no servers. Everything you track stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal or health data.

📊 Data Collection

We want to be completely transparent: NerveKeeper does not collect any personal or health data.

💾 Data Storage

Everything you create in NerveKeeper is stored locally on your device, in app-private storage that other apps cannot read:

None of this is ever uploaded to a cloud server or shared with us or any third party.

📱 Permissions

NerveKeeper requests only the minimum permissions needed, and the core tracker works without any of them:

Permission Purpose Type
Notifications Optional local reminders to check in, and the “did it help?” follow-up. No content leaves your device. Optional
Run at startup Re-schedules your local reminder after the phone restarts. Works entirely on-device. Optional
Vibration Subtle haptic feedback when you tap and confirm actions. Optional
Internet Used only by Google Play to process the optional one-time Pro purchase. No personal data is sent. Billing only

NerveKeeper does not use your camera or photos, does not access your location or contacts, never records audio, and reads no device sensors — HbA1c and every value are typed in by you. All symptom tracking works fully offline.

🩺 Not Medical Advice

NerveKeeper is a personal tracking and note-keeping tool to help you stay organized and remember what you experienced. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The neuropathy screening questionnaire (DN4), the HbA1c log, the balance and fall log, and the foot self-check are self-entered records and self-screening aids — they are not a diagnosis, an interpretation, or a substitute for a professional exam. Any trends, patterns, or reports NerveKeeper shows are simply summaries of what you entered. They are not clinical findings. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your symptoms and before making any health decisions. The doctor report is a convenience summary you can choose to share with your clinician; it is not a substitute for professional care.

💳 Purchases

NerveKeeper is free. It offers one optional one-time in-app purchase, “NerveKeeper Pro,” which unlocks extra features. There is no subscription and there are no ads.

Payments are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see, receive, or store your payment details. Your Pro status is remembered locally on your device and, through Google Play, tied to your Google account so you can restore it after reinstalling.

📦 Backup & Restore

NerveKeeper can export your data to a single backup file so you can move to a new phone or keep a copy. This is completely under your control:

📄 Reports & Exports

NerveKeeper can generate a doctor report as a PDF or CSV file from your own entries. The file is created on your device and is only ever shared if you choose to send or save it. We never receive a copy.

🗑️ Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

Because nothing you record ever leaves your device, there is no data held on our servers to request deletion of.

👶 Children's Privacy

NerveKeeper is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since the app collects no data from any user, this policy applies equally to users of all ages.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Since NerveKeeper collects no personal data, changes would only reflect updates to app functionality or permissions.
