Local Train Jam Privacy Policy

Crowd Puzzle

Last updated: 9 October 2026

In short

Local Train Jam has no account, no sign-up and no server. Your progress stays on your phone.

We never receive anything about you. The only data that leaves the device is what Google's advertising SDK collects to show ads, and that data contains nothing from your game.

What stays on your phone

Everything Local Train Jam remembers is kept in the app's private storage on your device:

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else by the app. The game itself makes no network request of its own, and plays without a network.

Sharing. When you tap Share after a daily commute or a Peak hour run, the app hands a short text (your result, such as stars and bumps) to your phone's own share sheet. You choose where it goes; the app sends nothing itself and receives nothing back.

Android backup. If Android's backup is switched on for your Google account, Android may include the game's progress and settings in it, so they can come back on a new phone. This is Android's own feature, under your control in your phone's settings; we never see the backup.

Advertising

Local Train Jam is free, and is paid for by ads. Now and then, a full-screen ad shows when you tap Next level after getting off at your station (or Done after the daily commute):

Ads are served by Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. The app asks only for ads suitable for all audiences (rated G), and passes nothing about your game to the ads SDK. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the SDK collects and sends to Google:

This data goes to Google, not to us, and is handled under Google's Privacy Policy. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Consent. Where the law requires it, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent using Google's consent message before any ad is requested. You can change your choice later in Settings, under "Privacy choices".

Your controls. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your phone's settings, under Google, then Ads.

The light vibration when commuters step off or bump needs no permission, and can be switched off in Settings. Local Train Jam does not ask for camera, storage, photo library, location, contacts, microphone, notifications, phone or SMS permission.

Purchases

There are none. Local Train Jam has no in-app purchases. Coins are earned in the game, by clearing levels, opening chests and finishing missions, and spent in the game on hints and extra hearts; they cannot be bought with money and have no value outside the game.

Deleting your data

There is nothing to request from us, because we hold nothing.

Children

Local Train Jam is made for teenagers and adults who enjoy a logic puzzle. It is not directed at children under 13, and the app itself collects no personal information from anyone. Ads are limited to content suitable for all audiences.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a new date, and a material change will be noted in the app's release notes. If Local Train Jam ever gained a feature that sent more data anywhere, such as cloud saves or leaderboards, it would be described here plainly before the feature shipped.
